When winter in LA means a leather jacket after dark, a true snow trip feels like a fantasy – which is exactly why we traded sunshine for snowfall and headed to Aspen. From February 12-15th, 2026, NYLON hosted its members-only residency at The Snow Lodge Aspen, blending music, fashion, and curated lifestyle programming into a four-day cultural escape. We stopped by Friday during the après event just as Kaytranada took over the decks and snowfall picked up outside, a moment that felt like the winter version of festival season: intimate, stylish, and slightly under-the-radar. WHAT The residency functioned as a multi-day takeover designed around access. Guests moved through brand activations, sampling moments, and social arrivals before reaching the dance floor. On September 14th, 2025, Hispanic is Iconic brought together leaders across fashion, media, and culture for an intimate evening of heritage, artistry, and storytelling. Hosted during New York Fashion Week, the private dinner spotlighted Carolina Herrera’s archival pieces from her Resort ’25 Collection and honored Karla Martínez de Salas, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Mexico & Latin America. Led by media personality and our very own Editor-in-Chief, Erika De La Cruz, the evening reminded guests of the beauty and brilliance of Latin culture and the importance of owning your personal narratives. WHAT: Attendees were welcomed with a lively cocktail hour that set the tone for the night. Suppose you were traipsing through Tribeca on a cautiously pleasant Wednesday evening that dared you to reject the mid-week slump and embrace the freedom of your night. Chances are you stumbled upon the opening reception of Mexican visual artist Elina Chauvet’s new body of work, “Corazón al Hilo”, or “Heart in Thread”, presented by MAD54 and Galeria 1204 just in time for Women’s History Month. Chauvet has been threading her needle and the color red through artistry and activism for over a decade. Her 2009 installation, “Zapatos Rojos”, meaning “Red Shoes,” gained international attention for its public denouncement of femicide. Chavet placed thirty-three pairs of red shoes, one in front of the other, down a major street in Juarez in honor of her sister and every woman who has been murdered because of their gender. Impactful is an understatement. Guests of Chauvet’s new exhibition, on display until March 29th, scaled the steep wooden steps to Tyler Loftis’ transformational studio space, expecting perhaps an intimate yet somewhat typical gallery showing. Meet Lupita Infante, A True LA Girl and Grammy nominated artist who is bridging the gap between traditional and modern day Mexican music. Born and raised in Downey, California, Infante hails from an iconic musical legacy as her grandfather, Pedro Infante, is one of Mexico’s most cherished and revered figures (in the country’s history) who continues to make a global impact in the Latin music scene inspiring new generations of artists. Known for his work in classic film during The Golden Age of Mexican Cinema (1940s & 1950s) along with iconic songs such as “Cien Anos,” and “Las Tres Cosas,” Infante has also left a lasting impression and influence on Lupita who has successfully created her own legacy by releasing original music along with Grammy nominated albums “La Serenata” and last year’s “Amor Como en Las Peliculas de Antes.” Getting her big break on Mexico’s “La Voz” in 2017, Infante has since tapped heavily into her creativity and grown as an artist experimenting with various themes and lyrical content. Happy International Women’s Day! This is by far one of our favorite times of the year and for good reason: we get to celebrate the women crushing it WORLDWIDE and also personally celebrate the women who have made that close to home impact in our lives. Women’s History Month is more than just a proclaimed holiday, it holds high significance to remember and honor the women who have broken down barriers, created change, advocated for themselves, and stand firm to have a voice in this world. Former President Barak Obama has once said that this holiday is a chance to “pay tribute to ordinary women throughout the world,” and that this day “reminds us that, while enormous progress has been made, there is still work to be done before women achieve true parity.” So much work to be made, but let’s not forget the progress has been PHENOMENAL especially within the Latin community.
